Cabinetmaking Foreman

SOLLeSOLUTIONS is a company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and installation of high-end custom cabinetry for complex residential and commercial projects in Canada and the United States.

Due to continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced **Cabinetmaking Foreman** with advanced technical expertise and strong supervisory skills to oversee cabinetry operations in both the workshop and on job sites. This position is critical to maintaining quality standards, supervising staff, and ensuring continuity between planning, manufacturing, and installation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise, coordinate, and assign work to cabinetmakers and installers in the workshop and on job sites
- Actively participate in the manufacturing of high-end custom cabinetry using solid wood, engineered panels, veneers, and mixed materials
- Perform and validate complex joinery and assembly techniques in accordance with company quality standards
- Supervise and participate in the installation of cabinetry on construction sites
- Read, interpret, and analyze architectural drawings, shop drawings, and installation plans
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues encountered in the workshop and on job sites
- Communicate technical feedback and required adjustments to design, planning, and production teams
- Train, mentor, and supervise employees, including onboarding and training of new cabinetmakers
- Ensure quality control throughout all stages, from manufacturing to final installation
- Participate in planning production and installation sequences to optimize timelines and resource utilization
- Collaborate with Canadian and U.S. teams, including technical communication with teams based in Texas
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum **7 years of experience** in high-end custom cabinetmaking and woodworking
- Advanced expertise in solid wood cabinetry and complex joinery techniques
- Proven experience in both workshop manufacturing and on-site installation
- Demonstrated experience in **supervision, leadership, or team training**
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
- Ability to analyze technical constraints and implement effective solutions
- **Bilingual required: English and French (spoken and written)**
- Strong communication skills in a multi-team and cross-border environment
- High level of autonomy, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility

Dans le cadre de sa croissance, l’entreprise recherche un **contremaître d’ébénisterie** possédant une expertise technique avancée et une solide expérience en supervision afin d’assurer la coordination des activités d’ébénisterie entre l’atelier, les chantiers et les équipes internes. Le poste est essentiel au maintien de la qualité, à la formation du personnel et à la continuité entre la planification, la fabrication et l’installation.

**Principales responsabilités**
- Superviser, coordonner et répartir le travail des ébénistes et installateurs en atelier et sur les chantiers
- Participer activement à la fabrication d’ébénisterie sur mesure haut de gamme (bois massif, panneaux techniques, placages et matériaux mixtes)
- Valider et exécuter des assemblages complexes selon les standards de qualité de l’entreprise
- Superviser et participer à l’installation de l’ébénisterie sur les chantiers
- Lire, interpréter et analyser les plans architecturaux, dessins d’atelier et plans d’installation
- Identifier, analyser et résoudre les problématiques techniques rencontrées en atelier et sur chantier
- Communiquer les ajustements techniques aux équipes de dessin, de planification et de fabrication
- Former, encadrer et superviser les employés, incluant l’intégration et la formation des nouveaux ébénistes
- Assurer le contrôle de la qualité à toutes les étapes, de la fabrication jusqu’à l’installation finale
- Participer à la planification des séquences de production et d’installation afin d’optimiser les délais et les ressources
- Collaborer avec les équipes canadiennes et américaines, incluant des échanges techniques avec les équipes basées au Texas
- Veiller au respect des normes de santé et sécurité au travail
