**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and care for children in the employer’s residence
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment
- Tend to emotional well-being and support social development
- Organize age-appropriate activities such as games and outings
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks related to child care
- Instruct children in personal hygiene
- Monitor child during rest periods

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of child care experience
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Strong communication skills
- Must be a Canadians and permanent residents

**Work Environment**:

- Employer’s private home
- Non-smoking environment
- Physically demanding at times
- No remote work available

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON K2G 6G6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
