Server Job Description

**Duties**

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new customers
  • Train other servers
  • Must be knowledgeable about Italian food & Alcohol.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
  • Assist with catering and banquet events as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous 5+ years of experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred
  • Strong math skills, including the ability to handle cash transactions and perform retail math calculations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
