**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Sampling Technician to support our expansion into Western Canada. In this role, you’ll conduct on-site inspections and collect samples for asbestos, mold, and lead-paint testing, upholding Axxonlab’s commitment to safety, accuracy, and exceptional client service.

This is a part-time position, of 20 hours per week - a flexible schedule during regular business hours (Monday to Friday - 8:30AM to 5:00PM) throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Travel to client locations (residential and commercial) in Edmonton & surrounding areas (a personal vehicle is required).
- Arrive punctually or ahead of schedule for appointments.
- Engage with clients in a profesisonal manner.
- Collect samples (air, surface, bulk), perform inspections, measure data while ensuring compliance with industry standards for client and personal safety.
- Take photos and write notes for reports.
- Record client contact details and obtain their signature on Axxonlab documentation.

**What We Offer**:

- Comprehensive training on Axxonlab’s inspection methods and sampling protocols.
- A minimum of 20 hours per week - a flexible schedule during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM)
- Mileage reimbursement of $0.45 per kilometer (fuel costs are your responsibility).
- Initial workload of 1-5 appointments per week, with a goal to scale to 4-5 appointments per day.
- Revisit role in 3 to 6 months for full-time opportunities, if interested.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle (mandatory).
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of asbestos, mold, or lead testing is an asset
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a commitment to professionalism.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suites and comfortability with working on a mobile device
