**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. This is a casual position. Charter bus driver operating full size motor coaches on Vancouver Island and BC. Driver MUST be based out of Port Alberni BC.

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a bus on designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed.
- Educate passengers about safety procedures and regulations during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Manage passenger behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Assist children or seniors with boarding and disembarking as necessary.
- Report any incidents or concerns to management promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Experience driving motor coaches would be an asset.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to chain up vehicle when required
- Winter driving experience while operating commercial vehicles
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Previous customer service experience is an asset.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
- Clean driving record
- Criminal record check may be required
- Drug and alcohol testing may be required
