The 1st Cook is responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in opening and closing the kitchen. In addition, personally prepares and co-ordinates the preparation of all food served at the breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods for the outlets and catering areas. The incumbent must be willing to assist with other food preparations for other outlets and assist with dinner preparations and is accountable for accepting kitchen deliveries. May be required to designate duties and supervise junior staff.
**Requirements**:
- Background check
- Must have completed a recognized culinary apprenticeship/training program
- Ability to work in all aspects of kitchen to include, sauce, grill, baking, gardemanger
