**Job description & responsibilities**

The Order Picker will pick items and build orders for clients on pallets. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Pick selected items according to invoice
- Raise items on pallets according to set sequence
- Wrap up pallets using an automatic wrapping machine
- Unload floor loads as required
- Ensure products are in their designated storage locations
- Match piece counts when loading freight with the invoice
- Maintain the warehouse clean and organized
- Maintain equipment on a daily basis(including manual pump lift & trans-pallet)
- Work in accordance with the warehouse safety rules

**Competencies**
- Must be able to lift items of 50 pounds
- Must be able to write/read English/French fluently

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience using a manual or electric pump lift (jiggers)
- Familiar with warehouse operations
- Organized, team-oriented and reliable

Safety shoes are mandatory

**Description du poste et responsabilités**

Le préparateur de commandes prélèvera les articles et établira les commandes des clients sur des palettes.

Les responsabilités incluent, mais ne sont pas limitées à:

- Choisir les articles sélectionnés en fonction de la facture
- Soulever les articles sur des palettes selon la séquence définie
- Emballer les palettes à l'aide d'une machine d'emballage automatique
- Décharger les charges au sol au besoin
- S'assurer que les produits sont dans leurs emplacements de stockage désignés
- Faire correspondre le nombre de pièces lors du chargement du fret avec la facture
- Maintenir l'entrepôt propre et organisé
- Entretenir quotidiennement l'équipement (y compris le levage manuel de la pompe et le transpalette)
- Travailler conformément aux règles de sécurité de l'entrepôt

**Compétences**
- Etre capable de soulever des objets de 50 livres
- Etre capable d'écrire / lire couramment l'anglais / le français

**Conditions**
- Minimum 2 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire
- Expérience de l'utilisation d'un élévateur à pompe manuel ou électrique (jiggers)
- Etre familier avec les opérations d'entrepôt
- Organisé, orienté équipe et fiable

Les chaussures de sécurité sont obligatoires

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
