Join a small company that packages food products as a Lead Hand and work in a friendly environment. The Lead Hand will assist the Production Supervisor with daily operations ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Keep the production area clean, prepare machinery and equipment for daily use
- Work closely with production team members to ensure product quality
- Consistent speed and accuracy when working on production line
- Perform ongoing checks on production activities to ensure production procedures are followed and food safety standards are within compliance
- Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure all company guidelines, GMP’s, policies and other duties are followed and implemented as assigned
- Forklift experience with a valid license (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Looking for a team player that is driven and reliable
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry up to and including 25kg
- Morning Shift, located in Mississauga
- Other duties as assigned
