Jr. Technical Writter

**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a writer to curate and write content for our customer knowledge base. As a member of our international technical writing team, you will learn about all facets of the technical writing process, including planning, researching, writing, and editing documentation for our Wynshop eCommerce product.

This is a fully remote role with a “Home Base” in Toronto, Ontario.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Curate our Wynshop Salesforce Knowledge Base to improve completeness and searchability
- Assist with the approval and publishing process for knowledge base articles
- Reach out and work with our Support, Professional Services, and Product Management teams to uncover useful information and turn that content into knowledge-base articles
- Write and edit content
- Learn and use Madcap Flare, our publishing software
- Update content in our Litmos Learning Management System
- Learning about our grocery eCommerce solution
- Learning about our Agile software development environment

**What you'll bring to the table**:

- Exceptionally strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong desire to learn about our products and a desire and willingness to ask questions.
- Solid ability to form productive working relationships with technical, authoring, and management personnel in a remote working environment
- Knowledgeable about mínimalist and task-based writing
- Aptitude for learning about technical publishing.
- Self-starter with good organizational skills.
- Passion for customer-focused documentation
- A plus if you have at least six months of experience as a technical writer AND/OR progress towards a technical writing certificate or progress towards a university degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Computer Science, or other relevant education and experience
