**ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE**:
In addition to performing all accountability objectives and Nature and Scope of the PMT position, this position is accountable for performing limited types of service work, excluding the programming and verification of networked and/or audio systems (for example Simplex 4010/4100, Edwards EST3/EST4 systems and equivalent).. The PMT II will be expected to perform the programming and verification of non-networked systems (for example Edwards Quickstart/iO/EST3x, Simplex non-networked 4007/4010 system and equivalent). In addition, the position will be required to assist on major projects, under the supervision and assistance from a TCST.

Employees who are electricians may perform work that would normally be subcontracted to an electrician provided they are not expected to do work for which they cannot obtain a permit.

**NATURE AND SCOPE**:

- Perform PMA, verifications, repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, training and related duties as directed on all systems excluding those listed in Accountability Objectives.
- Operate a laptop computer and download software to small microprocessor based systems.
- Make programming changes excluding those listed in Accountability Objectives.
- Perform other areas of work as required, i.e. emergency lighting, extinguishers, renovation, etc.
- Train PMT service technicians and, where falling within the PMT II technician’s abilities, customers on the job site as requested.
- Assist in other areas as assigned.

NOTE: Management, with advice from the Group Leader, will determine if a technician is qualified to do standby.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma
- Two (2) year community college graduate in electronics and/or equivalent work experience
- CFAA Certification and/or ASTT EX, EL, FA tickets (where the AHJ requires ASTT certification)
- Good communication skills
- Good computer skills

Hourly range: $36-38
