Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces.

**Duties**:

- Perform routine floor cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
- Strip, seal, wax, and buff hard floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals
- Clean and maintain carpets through shampooing, steam cleaning, or spot treatment
- Remove stains, spills, and debris from floors promptly
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Inspect floors for damage or wear and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Floor Technician or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of various floor cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
- Ability to operate floor cleaning machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and address cleanliness issues
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 2 years (preferred)
- Machine Floor Cleaning: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)
