Web Marketing Manager

**What we’re looking for
As we enhance our global branding efforts and go-to-market strategy, we are looking for an enthusiastic Web Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing, dynamic, and driven Marketing team.

**Position overview
Reporting to our Manager, Brand & Content Marketing, the Web Marketing Manager will take ownership of the vision for Kneat’s online presence. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization and with the growth marketing team, you will redefine and evolve Kneat’s website and web properties to capture our evolving brand, and revenue and stakeholder requirements.

**Responsibilities
- Lead the growth and development of Kneat's website to ensure a seamless user experience for prospective and existing customers, partners, job seekers, and investors on both desktop and mobile
- Project manage, oversee, and execute day-to-day website operations, sprint planning and releases
- Lead the creation of a web roadmap and build of the associated development and release structure (agile planning, etc), and quality assurance
- Manage and prioritize requests from internal stakeholders (Marketing (Growth, Events, Content, Communications, etc), Human Resources, Partnerships, Customer Success, Finance, and more)
- Own the A/B testing strategy and experimentation roadmap for all of Kneat's web properties
- Working with the Growth Marketing team, implement a robust conversation rate optimization and testing program to further drive growth and performance
- Align with the company's brand positioning strategy to tell an evolving story across all web properties
- Optimize Kneat's site navigation to ensure a high-quality experience for all web traffic
- Working with Digital and Content Marketing teams, support the SEO strategy for Kneat's website and blog
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to build and optimize landing pages to help improve conversion rates
- Working in collaboration with the Brand and Creative team, enforce Kneat’s corporate brand and visual identity standards across web properties
- Identify new tools to improve conversion rates while maintaining a strong user experience
- Research, monitor, stay informed on, and leverage new web and digital innovations and best practices
- Manage overall web performance from an optimization, tracking and reporting perspective
- Achieve established goals and leverage defined KPIs to determine the effectiveness of web performance
- Work with and manage external service providers, agencies, and developers
- Additional duties and projects as assigned.

**Minimum qualifications
- Graduation from a post-secondary institution with education in Computer Science, Design, User Experience, Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience performing a similar function
- Experience managing an internal team or external agencies consisting of technical roles
- Experience using a range of Content Management Systems, including WordPress.
- Proven program management skills from having led successful cross-functional projects
- Experience leading experimentation roadmaps and improving conversion rates
- Knowledge of web tracking and attribution
- Proven expertise in UI/UX Design, A/B testing
- Experience building and leveraging user journey mapping to develop exceptional experiences for different personas
- Knowledge on-page (front-end) and off-page (back-end) SEO practices with an emphasis on back-end SEO knowledge
- In-depth experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Search Console
- Experience using exploratory data tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel
- Experience with Heat mapping software (Hotjar, Crazy Egg, etc) and testing software (Google Optimize, Optimizely, etc)
- Experience with conversion rate optimization and conversational (chat) tools such as HubSpot, Zendesk, Drift, Privy, OptinMonster, etc
- You possess a high degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to be an effective team-player in a cross-functional environment.

**Nice to haves
- Web-development experience (Html, CSS, etc.) highly desirable
- Experience working in a similar role in a highly-regulated complex industry such as biopharma, life sciences, medical device, security and defence, or food and beverage is an asset
- Experience working in an agency environment or working with large agencies is an asset
