Lube Technician

We are currently seeking a **Tire and Lube Technician** to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

**Purpose/Summary of Position**:
The Tire and Lube Technician is responsible to service vehicles, including providing preventative and routine maintenance.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Perform oil and filter changes
- Checking that tires are inflated correctly
- Replenishing vehicle fluids, lubricates joints/fittings as needed
- Checking cabin and air filters
- Responsible for inspecting tires on client vehicles, making tire repairs, installing new tires when necessary, balancing and rotating tires.
- Maintaining tidiness of the shop

**Other responsibilities include**:

- Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- WHIMIS standards to ensure chemicals/equipment is being handled in a safe manor & ensure you are compliant in using them.
- Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
- Valid driver’s license - minimum G2
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is a must
