**Job Summary**:
**The Core Job Duties Include**:

- Support the development of the district’s multi-year financial and business plans and forecasts
- Analyze budgets, performance indicators, business plans and ongoing financial results to enable strategic recommendations on corrective actions
- Assist and advise departments in preparing their annual capital budget and operational submissions
- Prepare monthly analysis and forecasting reports, and work to identify significant risks and investigate and resolve discrepancies and mitigation strategies.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end working papers and collaboration with external auditors during the audit.
- Support the Asset Management Committee in the development or maintenance of asset management strategies policies, and planning
- University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred

**Salary**: This position is a unionized position under CUPE local 2698. The hourly wage rate is $40.78/hour (Analyst I) or ($46.69 Analyst II-CPA Required) as per the current Collective Agreement.
