Speech-language Pathologist

Tip of the Tongue Speech & Language Therapy is a private practice providing speech and language therapy to children in the comfort of the client's home. We provide itinerant services across Greater Vancouver, the Tri-Cities and areas of the Fraser Valley. Our goal is to provide effective and evidence-based speech-language therapy services in a motivating, fun, and encouraging environment.

**Role Description**

This is a contractor position, providing you the flexibility to set your own days and hours, with a maximum of 20 hours/week, and the ability to expand your hours at your own pace. We are seeking a SLP to support families in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. There is also the opportunity to support families in Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, New Westminster, and Burnaby.

**What You Bring**:

- Knowledge, skills, and confidence supporting children with a range of speech sound disorders, language disorders, stuttering, literacy skills, and developmental disorders
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable prioritizing tasks and working independently
- Excellent collaboration skills to contribute as a member of the client's therapeutic team
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Provincial licensure and registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
- Professional liability insurance
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and access to a vehicle to drive between clients' homes
- Ability to acquire own therapy materials and assessment tools

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $90.00-$110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

**Education**:

- Master's Degree (preferred)
