- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operational or field management, preferably within the elevator industry or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated experience in people management, including the ability to lead, inspire, develop trust, and gain commitment from a diverse team. Ability to develop & grow team capabilities to deliver excellent service.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging with employees, customers, and stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and cost control. Familiarity with sales processes related to repair and modernization projects.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications, with strong mechanical and electrical comprehension skills.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, with the ability to address issues promptly and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with ability to adapt to new processes & systems.
- Knowledge of elevator codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices (TSSA, CSA B44).
- Experience working in a unionized environment and managing to a collective agreement.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Downtown & Greater Toronto Area as needed based on operational needs.
