**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Performs tasks in maintaining the supportive housing area of the building in a sanitary, clean, orderly and attractive condition.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- a welcoming and pleasant personality
- follow oral instructions
- knowledge of various housekeeping skills
- the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- be in good health and meet the physical requirements
- able to prioritize work load to accomplish required duties
- setting priorities and goals that ensure effective and efficient service.
- experience in the seniors industry an asset

**DUTIES**
- sweep, mop, wet mop floors
- wash toilets, sinks and showers/tubs
- dust furniture
- vacuum carpet
- empty wastebaskets
- replenish supplies as required
- report anything that requires repairs
- perform other related tasks

QUALITY SERVICE:

- shall function within the Mission, Vision and Philosophy of Résidence Despins and with a Service Commitment to the Tenants.
- shall report to the Tenant Companion Team Leader, verbally and in writing, any noted changes in a Tenant’s physical, emotional, behavioral or cognitive functioning. Documentation should include date and time of what was witnessed.

SAFETY AND HEALTH:

- Ensures tenant and work areas are maintained in a safe condition,monitors the practice of staff to ensure safe practice.
- Reviews and acts on the Preventative Maintenance Reports.
- Maintains a healthy lifestyle so that attendance at work is possible.

**Salary**: $15.10-$16.71 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
