**FORKLIFT OPERATOR / WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT AT CHC**

CHC is a leading HVAC company specializing in home energy efficiency improvements throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team.

This dual-role position is ideal for a motivated individual with hands-on experience in warehouse operations and administrative support, along with valid forklift certification. **Responsibilities Include**:

- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and store inventory.
- Coordinate and perform daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspecting, packing, labelling, storing, and shipping of goods.
- Prepare and fulfill orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely dispatch.
- Conduct routine stock checks, monitor inventory levels, and report discrepancies or variances promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and warehouse activities using internal systems and databases.
- Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and ensure adherence to all safety protocols.
- Light cleaning required to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Support administrative duties, including updating records, maintaining schedules, managing communications, filing, and coordinating with clients, staff, logistic companies and other third parties.
- Assist in the preparation of business documents such as inventory reports, packing slips, shipping labels, receiving logs, bill of lading, invoices, etc.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, operational procedures, and applicable legal and safety regulations.
- Communicate and cooperate with Team Lead, Management, supervisors, coworkers and clients, in-person, online, SMS or over the phone.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to stay up-to-date on industry advancements, new equipment, and best practices.
- Other responsibilities and duties as required and as assigned by Team Lead or Management.

**Requirements**:

- Moderate computer skills for communications with clients, coworkers and for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Maintain all necessary licences and receive all required training for safe operation and maintenance of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Clean criminal record and satisfactory credit history.

**Work Schedule**:Weekdays, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required.

**Salary**: Starting from $43,000 per year

**Experience**:

- Customer-Oriented, Energetic and Positive.
- Prior experience in inventory management or logistics.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse procedures and practices.
- Experience with other types of material handling equipment.

**Language**:

- Good command of written and spoken English (required)
- Second Language (an asset)
