**WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU**:
**What you will do**:

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance services on AWS.
- Manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes, including Jenkins and Kubernetes.
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code methodologies to manage infrastructure and system configuration.
- Collaborate with software engineers to understand and address code deployment needs and enable developer self-service models.
- Act as a gatekeeper and co-approver of changes to our production system (and its dependencies).
- Participate in incident response and resolution.
- Ensure that alerting mechanisms are in place to address any unplanned downtime or critical issues in a timely fashion.
- Review, coordinate and prioritize project tasks and requests for the team, effectively managing stakeholder requests from Development, Security and IT/Infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members on development and operations.
- Document and design various processes, updating existing processes, and improving the performance of existing systems.

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven hands-on experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps/GitOps Engineer or similar engineering role in a corporate environment
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, Control Tower and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency with Jenkins and CI/CD
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Understanding and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
- Strong experience in administration of Windows and Linux servers
- Advanced knowledge of scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, Perl, or Shell.
- Proficiency with network protocols, firewalls, routing, and load balancing.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mentality.
- At least 5 years of corporate experience, including management or team leadership duties
