Kovatera is a fast growing, privately owned, Canadian company and we are looking to add a Parts Assembly Technician to the Team.

The Parts Assembly Technician will be required to use their skill and ability in the Kovatera plant to assemble new components, parts, products and aftermarket kits. They must also be able to maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assembly of a variety of new equipment parts and kits as required
- Painting and touch ups as required
- Identify any defective parts and handle them according to established procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace while complying with procedures and regulations
- Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry

**Requirements**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
- Experience working with machinery
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems would be an asset
- Attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods of time
- Valid driver’s licence and a good driving record
