**Summary**:
**Job Duties**:

- Investigate and respond, if necessary, to any reported accidents, thefts, property loss or unlawful activities; know where/when to escalate situations and emergencies.
- Perform interion and exterior patrols.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
- Respond to intrusion, fire, and medical emergencies
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada Cannabis Regulations
- Complete incident reporting and conduct internal audits of security equipment and processes.
- Protect the site/property from loss due to theft, damage and/or negligence.
- Conduct regular site patrols to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario security license is required.
- Post-secondary education in Police Foundations is an asset (or equivalent education and relative work experience).
- 1-2 years’ experience in a related field.
- Must be fluent in English (written, verbal and reading) Fluency in Spanish an asset.
- Computer literate with knowledge of advanced CCTV surveillance equipment.
- First Aid & CPR certification required, Ontario Smart Serve Certified and asset
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract,
- Clean criminal record.
- Previous experience with access control.
- Must have strong self-management, organization skills.
- May be required to work rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Must be able to handle crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Your Environment**:

- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Atypical work hours.
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Overtime as required.
- Manual dexterity required to use the desktop computer and peripherals.
- Must be able to achieve or have achieved a security clearance as defined under the Cannabis Act.We are actively looking to fill 2 Security Guard positions, including one temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent.

**Job Type**:Permanent, Contract

**Pay**: $20.19 per hour.
