**Grimsby Hyundai** is looking for a team oriented, hardworking **Painter** to join their team.

**Here’s what you’ll deliver**:

- Review repair orders prior to beginning work on vehicles.
- Analyze, assess and evaluate the exterior paint condition of various motor vehicles and select appropriate corrective action or method of repair.
- Identify and remove layers of sub-coatings by using abrasives, solvents or chemicals.
- Repair out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers.
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
- Ensure all vehicles scheduled to be painted are masked and covered.
- Paint vehicles as required.
- Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
- Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
- Other duties as required by management.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Availability to work the following shift: Monday - Friday from 5pm to 2am.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 2-3 years experience in Automotive body work servicing.
- Must have knowledge in the manufacturer's repair and refining process.
- Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
- Must have a valid Ontario Class ‘G’ driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
- Experienced in all aspects of used cars reconditioning.
- Experience in detailing vehicles using professional chemicals.
- Experience in sanding,mudding and other necessary exterior body work repair techniques.
- Must have knowledge in dealership paperwork process
- Experience with cleaning chemicals.
- Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.
