**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager, under the day-to-day leadership of the Acting Leader, Porter Services, the Porter is responsible for ensuring the safe transport of patients between areas within the facility in accordance with approved procedures. The porter functions in all aspects of the Porter Service, which could include, but not be limited to patient transport, lab, mail and pharmacy delivery.

The porter ensures that the principles and practices that guide AVH such as the mission, vision, values, expected behaviors, the leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships and interprofessional collaboration are integrated within the services they provide and through the messages they deliver.

**About You**:

- High School Diploma - Grade XII or equivalent
- Demonstrated understanding of the role of Porter Services in the delivery of patient care.
- Demonstrated accountability.

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$17.91 - $20.05 Hourly
