Microtel Inn and Suites is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, dedicated individual, whose passion include excellent customer service, loves working in a fast past environment, multi tasking and someone who likes to think of their work place as home. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Ensuring set up of breakfast and/or evening refreshments in accordance with property and brand standards - Welcoming guests to the hotel and explaining facilities available - Replenishing food and beverage maintaining a pleasing display - Interaction with guests to make their stay more enjoyable and assist in identifying service recovery opportunities - Providing information on the local area ("Local Flavor") - Carrying out cleaning duties as per cleaning schedule communicating with housekeeping and maintenance as required in order to maintain the upkeep of the breakfast and/or lobby area This is an early morning position, so having your own transportation is a necessity. Must be reliable and have a flexible work schedule. Cross training is available in other departments. **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 15-20 per week **Salary**: From $15.50 per hour Schedule: - Day shift Supplemental pay types: - Tips Ability to commute/relocate: - Greater Sudbury, ON P3B 0A3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: One location
