**Wastewater Collection Operator In Training (OIT) - GTA TORONTO**

As an Operator in Training (OIT) with StreamGo, you will be a valuable player on our team, ensuring our growing operations and maintenance ground game is the best in the business.

We are an energetic company and opportunities exist for people with an ‘all hands-on deck’ approach. In this versatile entry level role you may work shifts, work outdoors on construction sites and report to different work locations. Under the direction of experienced operators, you will contribute to the successful operation of the drinking water and/orwastewater facilities we operate. You will help to ensure that our operations comply with all applicable legislation, regulations, approvals, orders and guidelines. You have basic knowledge of drinking water and wastewater system operations and process control, are computer proficient, have demonstrated problem solving skills, are mathematically inclined and have effective communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

- **OIT Wastewater Collection - Required**:

- OIT Water Treatment
- OIT Wastewater Treatment
- OIT Water Distribution
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- basic knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations (for example, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Drinking Water Standards, Drinking Water Protection Regulations, Safe Drinking Water Act, Spills Act, etc.).
- mechanical aptitude and abilities.
- a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
