**Job Purpose**

Accomplishes various production assembly functions that are somewhat complicated in nature. Works on precision assemblies or sub assemblies of small, medium or large size units involving a number of parts. Does fitting and adjusting to meet operating requirements of products. Involving mechanical, electrical and electronic parts.

Capable or troubleshooting sub-assemblies and final products, including writing detailed reports if needed.

**Role - Typical Duties**:

- Assembles products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams
- Operates hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
- Works closely with the production team leader to improve product quality.
- Other duties as required.

**Skills and Training Required**
- 1-3 years of experience in a production environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of safe work practices, including WHMIS compliance.
- Effective listening and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in hectic work environment in a cooperative manner.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and constructively.
