**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the direct management of all team members, all inbound / outbound procedures and storage management. The warehouse manager will work closely alongside the Branch manager and sales team ensuring daily order requirements are met in an efficient and accurate manner. This is a **HANDS-ON** position that will require lifting; order picking; packaging; fast paced on the floor decision making and forklift/machinery operation.
- As the key steward of the internal control of our companies’ warehouse activities, you will ensure that inventory management and reliable delivery of product is in line with service level objectives. You will grow this position so you become the main point of contact for all internal and external warehouse matters.
- This is a full time Monday to Friday position however, as our dedicated Warehouse Manager you will be willing to put in the time necessary to invest in the cultivation of this position. As this position evolves so too will the duties, responsibilities and compensation. Following the three month probationary period there will be a performance and salary review.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Manage warehouse staff between the numbers of 25 (in season) and 10 (off season)
- Maintain and record payroll entries for warehouse staff
- Recruitment, training, coaching, mentoring and dismissal of staff
- Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our existing warehouse policies, procedures, products and processes including the nature and style of communications
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of our customers, delivery methods and transport agreements
- Coordinate and collaborate with senior management to ensure progressive projects, plans and identified solutions are implemented to meet management, customer and vendor needs and expectations
- Build a rapport and good working relationship with the Branch Manager, General Manager, Purchasing Department and other management teams to establish daily, weekly and monthly reporting needs/requirements

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and improve safety procedures working in conjunction with Operations Manager
- Daily shift planning and priority task delegation
- Optimize warehouse processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
- Maintain a high-performance team through training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management in a safe environment.
- Manage Receiving Team: Unloading transport trailers; receive in-bound product; report shipment discrepancies and damages; review and verify purchase orders
- Manage Shipping Team: Analyze freight costs; determine efficient shipping lanes; fulfil daily orders in a timely, efficient and accurate manner
- Manage product storage process; ensuring product is stored in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct safety and productivity meetings with staff
- Opening and closing of workplace

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
