**Novarc Technologies** is looking for an** IP**Manager** to join our growing team and support the production of our cobots.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Drive the creation, ongoing development, and execution of a comprehensive IP strategy for driving business goals and mitigating third-party risk.- Monitor industry trends, competitor patents, and emerging technologies to identify risks and opportunities- Manage Novarc’s patent portfolio, ensuring timely filings, renewals, and responses to office actions- Establish and refine processes for idea extraction, evaluation, and protection, ensuring that valuable innovations are captured and assessed regularly- Execute and manage FTO and product clearance searches.- Lead a structured monthly IP review process to evaluate patentability and potential business impact of new ideas- Provide internal training on intellectual property best practices, patent processes, and risk mitigation strategies-
- Oversee and coordinate Novarc’s involvement in patent litigation cases, working closely with external legal teams to defend and enforce company IP rights- Establish guidelines for trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks to ensure Novarc’s broader IP assets are protected- Organize and streamline IP-related workflows, ensuring effective documentation and communication between engineering, legal, and leadership teams- Prepare monthly claims and project status reports.

**Minimum Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in intellectual property management, patent litigation, or corporate IP strategy, preferably in robotics, automation, or computer vision.- Extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property, with a focus on IP strategy, trade secrets, patent prosecution, and IP licensing.- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.- Comfortable proactively engaging research and engineering teams to provide training, identify patentable innovations, and other IP strategy initiatives.- Effective communication and project management skills for managing intellectual property issues between R&D, business, and senior management teams.- Legal background, particularly in intellectual property law, patent law, or corporate technology law will be a plus.
