Restoration Laborer

**Job Summary**
We are seeking reliable and hardworking general labourers to support our restoration contractors. This flexible day-by-day role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in property restoration, with potential for full-time employment with established restoration companies. Employees that have demonstrated exceptional work-ethic and ability to understand that the client's we are working with are dealing with the potential loss of their home and demonstrate the ability to handle themselves appropriately will be upgraded to our on-call team where wages start at $25 hourly.
**Duties**
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and products.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and organizing work areas.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Assist with baseboard and flooring removal. Cut, stack, and dispose of drywall.
- General cleanup, debris removal, and material handling.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety guidelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices related to labor work is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Safety Boots: Must be worn on the job site.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is a plus (Not mandatory)
