**Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate waste removal trucks to collect and transport solid waste materials from residential and commercial areas to designated disposal sites. Load and unload waste materials onto the truck. Sort and separate different types of waste materials
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Safely maneuver the waste removal truck in various traffic and weather conditions, adhering to all road regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of the waste collection and disposal activities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers to provide information about waste collection schedules, resolve any issues or complaints, and ensure efficient operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the waste removal truck to ensure its proper functioning and appearance.
- Adhere to all environmental regulations and guidelines for waste disposal, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines. Stay up to date with regulations, and best practices related to waste removal and disposal, attending training sessions or workshops as required.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with customers and providing excellent customer service.

**Qualifications**:
- Must have valid Class 3 Driver’s License for 3 years and able to provide a 3-year clean commercial driver's abstract.
- 3 years of driving experience
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential.
- Weight Handling: Up to 25 kg (50 lbs)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions is required
