**About Angelic Treasures Christian Daycare in Aurora**

ATCD in Aurora is a licensed daycare that is located at 126 Wellington Street West, Aurora. The daycare has 8 rooms, 2 playgrounds, and has capacity for 96 children. ATCD in Aurora offers all-day programming in our infant, toddler, preschool, and JK/SK classrooms.

We are looking to recruit a Daycare Cleaner who not only cares for our building, but is passionate about providing children with a happy and healthy learning environment to play and grow. As a valuable member of our daycare team, the Daycare Cleaner will play a vital role in the well-being of our teachers, administrative staff, kitchen staff, and children by maintaining the cleanliness of the daycare.

The Daycare Cleaner will have two hours every evening after 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, to ensure the cleaning duties of the daycare are fulfilled.

**Professional Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year of experience housekeeping, residential cleaning, office cleaning, or general cleaning (required)
- Familiar with standard methods, practices, tools, solutions, and equipment necessary for cleaning (required)
- Ability to lift upward of 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Ability to stand, kneel, and perform repetitive movements for long periods (required)
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent (required)
- Infection Control certification (preferred)
- WHMIS training (preferred)
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Dust items such as furniture, cabinets, door frames, and window sills.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
- Clean and service restrooms.
- Light trash and recycling management duties.
- Accurately maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
- Report maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
