**Full Job Description**:
This position is for someone who can build solid relationships with staff and big clients and be able to work with the CEO Daily basis.

**General Purpose of Job**:

- The Catering and Sales rep will assist in the booking and execution of onsite and offsite events including all administration, guest relations, writing contracts and function sheets.
- A key goal of this position is to focus on sales and marketing by building our client base and contributing significantly to our bottom line sales.
- The sales associate will also spend time in our facility learning our operations, menu, and culture by working key hourly positions and focusing on guest relations.
- Generally be Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day.
- Before selling anything the Sales representative has to study menus & operation in order to understand clearly the company procedure & be available to close sales more smoothly.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for setting an overall tone of warm, welcoming, hospitality when interacting with guests on the phone, during the booking process, and at any event.
- The position is key to answer the guest inquiries quickly and follow up in a timely manner, responding to guests in a timely fashion with enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to help with all of their questions and requests.
- Meet with guests inquiring about events and “sell” our menu and give excellent customer service.
- You must have a professional and Caring approach with Clients and Staff and be compassionate, kind and respectful.
- Responsible for booking both deliveries and staffed events and creating accurate and up to date function sheets and contracts for each event.
- Maintain event binders with accurate and up to date function sheets.to pass to CEO/ EVENT COORDINATOR IN TIME TO PREPARE THE COORDINATION PROCESS.
- Setting goals to significantly increase sales by establishing a strong outreach program, cold calling, and reinstating our rewards program.
- Responsible for maintaining mailing lists.
- Establishes and maintains great relationships with our vendors.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- High school graduate or equivalent desired.
- Excellent writing, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Confident with presenting and interacting with guests.
- Must possess general knowledge of food and beverage and service procedures, generally involving some experience as a server, bartender, catering assistant, etc.
- Some experience in the catering/banquet field and sales/marketing is preferred. Excellent writing, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with guests and employees.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and flexibility required.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to demonstrate high energy, and strong enthusiasm for customer service.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and communicate effectively in the event of any delays.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance & grooming and regular attendance in compliance with company standards.

**Schedule**:

- 8 hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
- Weekend availability.

**Supplemental pay types**:

- Bonus pay.
- Commission pay.
- Monthly bonus.
- Signing bonus.

**Experience**:

- ** Events Management**: 2 years (preferred).
- ** Customer Service**: 2 years (preferred).
- ** Hospitality**: 3 years (preferred).
