**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled CAD technician with experience in pre-press or/and co-packing assembly line to join our team as a Pre-Press & Structural CAD Technician.
This role is primarily on-site, with some flexibility at our Scarborough location.
**Highlights of What You Will Do**:

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand display requirements and objectives.
- Creating assembly instructions and verifying against display prototypes and Final CAD and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Create assembly instruction sheets using Artios CAD or Adobe CS
- Prepare 3D and DAE files using Artios CAD 3D feature.
- Collaborate with design & production teams to ensure seamless transition from design to manufacturing.
- Quality control of final structural design files.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and materials to bring fresh ideas.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues.

**What You’ll Need to be Successful**:

- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Communication Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an assembly or co-packing facility.
- Proficient in Artios CAD.
- Working knowledge of Adobe CS is an asset but not preferred.
- Working knowledge of structural design, corrugate, production processes, and printing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and eco-friendly display solutions is a plus.
