**Electronics Technician**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Testing and repairing of electronic devices and assemblies.
- Perform light soldering operations (surface mount repair, asset).
- Provide technical support for the production lines.
- Knowledge on a variety of test equipment such as oscilloscopes and test fixtures, etc.
- Working in a team environment to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain, set-up and program all SMT equipment.
- Program, Set-up and operate Fuji Amex III Pick and Place machine
- Program, Set-up and operate Model: TR75000 SIII 3D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI).
- Knowledge of electronic component Identification and IPC610 standards.
- Maintain all Preventive Maintenance logs
- Recommend and maintain required inventory of spare parts
- Train operators to perform minimum maintenance and set-up
- Maintain all hard copy of files and computer programs up to date and back up all programs
- Advise Supervisor or Lead Hand of any abnormal conditions
- Keep down time of the machine to a minimum

***Skills and Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in electronics.
- 2-5 years of practical work experience in the testing and repairing of electronic assemblies.
- Proven ability to read and understand schematics.
- Surface Mount soldering skills.
- Basic MS Suite and computer literacy.
- Ability to understand both written/ verbal instructions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
