**JOB - FENCE FOREMAN**
- Full Time, 50 hours weekly
- Work Location: Halifax, NS
- Wage is based on experience and qualifications
- 80% local work, 20% travel

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinates and supervises daily activities of a 1-2-person crew.
- Utilizes equipment to install fences.
- Responsible to take a set of plans and build a fence to spec.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Continually inspects work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns.
- Responsible for crew safety. Establishes safe work environment that complies with the company safety program.
- Observes assigned equipment to detect machinery malfunctions. Assures the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Reviews and approves employee time reporting.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Requires 2 yrs. of previous experience as a Fence Foreman or equivalent fence installation experience.
- Experienced working in a role requiring installation of chain link fencing, razor wire and gates.
- Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with management, fellow employees.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be physically fit & work outdoors during inclement weather.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and good driver’s abstract. Having a Class 3E license would be an asset.
