Beverage Operations Manager

Ensure smooth running for all operations at the bar and meeting room spaces. With the responsibility to develop, innovate and deliver a product mix which will be quality driven whilst maintaining a financial return. Ensuring that all operational standards are reviewed and correctly implement to allow the business to grow and provide excellent customer service.
The position will report directly to the General Manager, while you have supervision on all bar and banquet team members.
- Supervise the bar and banquet teams during operations, while sometimes working the floor personally
- Develop, control and supervise all LSOP for the bar and banquets
- Hire a bar and banquet team
- Ensure all Tidan procedures and policies are upheld
- Manage Health & Safety and Beverage Hygiene, ensuring there is strict compliance with all legislation
- Create & update all bar, breakfast, tapas and banquet menu
- Verify the quality and presentation of all F&B offerings
- Integrate and train all new team members
- Handle all guest comments and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- Help, guide and assist all team members
- Create and send out schedules
- Work & develop relationships with external suppliers and caterers to be able to deliver the best quality product, with a focus on local products, with a high ROI
- Work closely with the Director of Sales and Assistant General Manager to place order and insure stock levels are available
- Complete a weekly inventory verification
- Ensure all products that are opened are dated and kept at the right temperature
- Work closely with the Director of Sales to go through banquet details to ensure execution - set up, serve and tear down
- along with F&B details
- Quarterly meetings with the Financial Controller to look at financial states, ROI and expenses
- Ensure the spend per head is increased year on year, without jeopardizing guest satisfaction and quality
- Manage the POS system - accounting, items, login
- Maintain invoices, journals, expenditures and assets
- Involved and consulted to create budget
- Assist with Front Desk activities, when times are slow
**Qualifications**:
- Stand out with their personality and attitude;
- Have a good ability to transmit information and work in a team;
- Able to work under pressure;
- Knowledge of wines and alcoholic beverages;
- Have a sense of priorities and attention to detail;
- Be passionate about customer service;
- Hold a DEC in tourism or hospitality or have any other relevant experience.
**Additional Requirements**: Smart Serve Certification; WHMIS Certificate; Safe Food Handling Certificate
