CCOMM Integrated Technology Services, a leader in the design and integration of Audio Visual and Video collaboration solutions, is currently recruiting for a full-time Junior AV Technician based out of our Stoney Creek, ON office.

The need is for a technical minded individual who is willing to learn and grow into a long-term career as opposed to just a job. The successful Junior Audio Visual Technician will provide technical support, advice, and troubleshooting for all Audio and Video equipment. Create and keep track of reports, logs, inventory, and other administrative related items per supervisor request.

The ability to work without supervision, to learn quickly and to trouble shoot independently are essential for success in the role. Some working knowledge of the following would be beneficial:

- Crestron or AMX
- Biamp DSP
- Cisco and or Polycom Video Conferencing
- HDMI & DVI & CAT6 matrix systems
- TCP/IP Networking
- Control Systems & Types (i.e. TCP/IP, RS232, Infrared, Relays)
- 70v/low impedance audio systems
- Video walls
- Projection alignment & balancing

Further to the AV Technologies outlined above, you will be exposed to (and trained in if required) the following skill sets:

- Understanding & Interpretation of wiring and schematic drawings
- Rack build & commission
- Hardware installation
- Cable terminations
- Basic use of hand tools
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to left 50lbs as well as working at heights
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Testing (as per client requirements)
- Valid drivers license & clean driving record
