Logistics Technician

Hello, we are looking for the Logistics Technician who has similar previous experience.
**Title: Logistics Technician**

**Duration**:1 year contract, potential for permanent hire.**

**Shift: Schedules available: 5 x 8 hrs. - 06:30 - 2:30PM or 3:00PM - 11:00 PM**

**Bi-weekly rotating continental (12 hour) shifts. Flexibility is required to work weekdays, weekends, days and nights.**

**Pay rate: -**Pay Rate: $21.48/hrs. +$0.70 shift premium for afternoons + $1.00 shift premium for nights**

**Job Description : -**

The Technician, Logistics LMM4 is responsible for:

- Perform all job functions pertaining to the Technician, Warehouse LMM3 role
- Ensure that warehouse activities, processes, systems and equipment (shipping/receiving, deliveries to manufacturing/packaging/others, etc.) are within our defined service level agreement.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues to a resolution at a more advanced level and act as a technical lead and support for LMM3 role
- Work in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act (Ontario), Apotex Health and Safety policies, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), Safety Charter and departmental safety expectations and programs.
- Ability to perform inventory adjustments and support all investigations, through related systems as well as physical inventory checks (drive crane or climb to area of concern)
- In the absence of a coordinator, assume added responsibilities and provide support to warehouse staff in areas such as prioritization of tasks, technical issues regarding SAP, and resolve issues with internal customers, such as Planner/Buyer, Production, QC, etc.
- Provide a more advanced level of support and expertise. Refer complex matters to the supervisor. Job Responsibilities:

- Goods Receipt and Put Away Exceptional Movements of Products - including Controlled Substance (CS) material.
- Delivery of Material to all Internal Customers including Sampling.
- Stock Transport Orders and Outbound Delivery Process including Shipments to Customers
- All Systems related to the Tote high bay : Tote High bay System (THBS), Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS), (Incl.Crane), Warehouse Control System (WCS), Yield Check System (YCS), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) & the Human Machine Interface (HMI)
- Tote High Bay Inventory Accuracy / Investigations - Reconciliation of SAP vs. WCS
- Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.

- Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.
- All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalency
- Fluent in English written and oral communication
- Competent operator (Maintain Valid License) of all related MHE, including Walkie, Pump Truck, BT stacker, Cleco Cranes; Ability to troubleshoot conveyor, scale and RFID issues.
- Advanced knowledge of computer operations - SAP modules for various warehouse operations/RF/warehouse databases, access intranet, etc.
- Willing to work various shifts and/or overtime when needed
- Successful completion and continue demonstration of Technician, Warehouse LMM3 competency
- Able to ascend and descend ladders to rack heights and operate equipment at height without fear and lift 50 lbs.

Pay: $21.48 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
