We are looking for a full-time route driver for our Truro - New Glasgow route, who will ensure excellent customer service while being responsible to deliver fresh product to stores.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver fresh products to stores across assigned territories.
- Direct store sales, merchandising, and stock rotation.
- Maintain route schedules and handle product loading/unloading.
- Ensure accurate processing of reports and invoices.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Schedule and maintain truck maintenance.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logbooks.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Wake up early to ensure timely departure and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Drive box trucks over 16' in length.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license with 3+ years of box-truck driving experience and a clean driving abstract.
- Direct-store sales or merchandising experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dedication to customer service.
- Energetic, professional, and friendly demeanor.
- Neat and clean appearance.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (required)
