Diverse Learners Speech Therapy Services is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to service a growing, neurodiverse caseload of children with Speech, Language, Fluency and Literacy needs. Option to take over a very small existing caseload of virtual clients for a transitioning therapist. - Share our passion for **neurodiversity-affirming** Speech Language Pathology services. - Have **experience and passion for supporting autistic and ADHD children**, with a strong desire for delivering **child-led **services. - Possess skills and/or a strong desire to learn about providing **structured literacy intervention** to school-age children with diverse learning needs and abilities. - Desire the **independence and flexibility of working from home** (virtual services and charting) and travelling to client homes in the Bolton area to deliver in-home services. Option to expand geographical service area to include Caledon, Nobleton, Kleinburg and/or Vaughan areas. Compensation for travel built into billing, with added fees for travel >15km from your home. **Responsibilities**: - Evaluate children using both informal and formal measures in the following areas: School Age Language and Literacy, Speech Sound Disorders, and, if desired, Gestalt Language Processing and AAC. - Provide therapy, consultation and counselling to families and children presenting with speech and language differences/disorders, literacy delays (dyslexia, learning disability), including AAC, if desired. - Be able to manage own client scheduling following the initial assessment. - Be confident to refer patients to other professionals or medical practitioners when necessary. - Collaborate with school teams for the purpose of informing IEP goals and recommendations when necessary.
