**Store Ambassador - Job Description**

The store ambassador is the community facing member in our stores that creates a welcoming environment for our guests. They are upbeat, positive and love connecting with people The store ambassador shares information with guests in our space about our products, artists, brand, events and community. They process transactions, restock product and maintain the organization/cleanliness of our store. They prioritize tasks throughout their shift and take the initiative to elevate the business. The store ambassador is independent in their role on the sales floor and works with our Floor Leaders and Store Manager to create a fun and unique shopping experience for our guests.

The store ambassador has the opportunity to be a consignor in our space in addition to their role on the floor - if they are an artist or maker with their own product line this can be an additional source of income for them. There is also the opportunity for role promotions, additional contracts, merit increases and more for our ambassadors - the possibilities are endless for those that take the initiative and show the desire to expand their offerings within Good Vibe Space

**Job responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- creating a warm & welcoming environment in the store for guests when shopping
- sharing product knowledge with guests
- point of sale transactions
- maintaining cleanliness of store
- receiving and processing inventory
- making each guests experience extra special by creating meaningful connections
- sharing your unique skills & personality within the staff & with guests in store

**Job Requirements & Assets**:

- minimum 2+ years of retail or customer service experience
- ability to work legally in Canada
- minimum 2 day/week availability, including at least one weekend day (Saturday/Sunday)
- strong verbal and communication skills
- outgoing and social by nature
- comfortable working with the public in a busy downtown store location
- social media, marketing, event planning or photography skills are an asset
- artistic pursuits of any kind are encouraged

**Part-Time Position = 2-4 shifts/week starting at $15.65/hr**

**Full-Time Position = 5 shifts/week starting at $16/hr**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-35 per week

**Salary**: $15.65-$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (required)
