the **Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a bus on designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of passenger counts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered during routes.
- Participate in training programs to enhance driving skills and knowledge of safety protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements, with a minimum of Class E. Added advantage if you hold Class B with Z endorsement.
- Proven experience in driving large vehicles; a minimum of 2 years of verifiable insurance experience driving commercial passenger vehicles.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with passengers.
- Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules.
- Familiarity with mobile-based apps, or willing to learn.
- Must pass background check, including vulnerability sector clearing, drug and alcohol tests.
- Must hold a clear driver's license free of any infractions.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Additional pay:

- Bradford, ON L3Z 1Y3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
