At our **Stratford Facility** we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Organize shipping & receiving department.
- Label parts for shipping documents.
- Make transportation/trucking arrangements.
- Checking shipments received against bills of lading, invoices or purchase orders to ensure that any discrepancies are identified and brought to the appropriate departments’ attention.
- Inspecting shipments for damage and recording details.
- Check part numbers and quantities to be shipped.
- Generate packing slips for parts to be shipped.
- Co-ordinate forklift and truck maintenance.
- Building appropriate shipment skids and proper packaging techniques.
- Ship control documents, custom papers and packing slips.
- Maintain Incoming / Outgoing inspections of material, supplies, and finished product.
- Co-ordination the movement of inventory throughout the plants.
- Receiving of inventory.
- Expediting material through the Visual system
- Work with Quality Assurance inspecting all incoming and outgoing parts.
- Maintain / clean and organize the yard outside the plant.
- Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

**Required Skills & Expertise**:

- Knowledge and training of Hazardous good and truck regulations
- Forklift driving experience
- Knowledge of crane operation
- Previous experience in doing inventory, shipping, receiving,
- Computer skills in Word, Excel ERP ( visual)
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid G drivers license
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Equipment/ Tools/ Technology Used:

- Forklift experience (counterbalance)
- ERP experience (Visual Manufacturing)

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
