**Necessary Qualifications**:

- possession of a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate;
- university training, or its equivalent, relevant to the posted position; and,
- successful teaching experience relevant to the posted position.

**PEMBERTON SECONDARY SCHOOL**
- possess relevant university training with a diploma in Technology Education, or its equivalent related to the position;
- possess relevant, successful experience teaching Carpentry, Metalwork, and Automotive at the secondary level;
- have specialized Trades training including Red Seal Certification;
- be familiar with the BC Student Performance Standards;
- have demonstrated and proven strategies for differentiation of instruction, assessment and support; and,
- have a solid understanding and knowledge of the new Ministry curriculum and competencies.

**Salary range**: $60,015 per year to $109,520 per year, based on category as assigned by the Teachers Qualification Service (TQS) and previous teaching experience.
