Stonemason

**Responsibilities**:
Fabricate and install natural and man-made stone in various forms, such as walls, patios, fireplaces, and other architectural features
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine the specific materials and methods required for each project
Use a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, saws, and chiesels to cut, shape, and finish stone
Collaborate with other members of the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a stonemason
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy materials
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- masonry: 2 years (preferred)
