Prosthetic Technician

Prosthetic Ability Inc is looking for a skilled prosthetic technician to compliment our growing team of dynamic and passionate professionals.

We are a well established facility that serves the Tri-cities (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge) and surrounding area. We provide passionate care for our clients through using the latest in technological advancements that best meet their individual needs. Our focus has always been on providing personalized and professional care for our wonderful clientele.
- Graduate of a recognized technical Prosthetics and Orthotics program
- Fabrication and assembly of a variety of upper and lower extremity prosthetic devices
- Provide creative insight and technical expertise in the design and fabrication of prosthetics
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail during fabrication and finishing processes
- Demonstrated ability to meet reasonable production timelines
- Ability to use all relevant equipment, tools, machines, supplies and components to fabricate, modify and repair prostheses
- Identify and maintain adequate inventory and supplies
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Develop and maintain fabrication skills and procedures through continuous education
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to equipment as assigned
- Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills

This is a full-time position, 5 days a week with a comprehensive benefits package, RRSP contribution and paid vacation.
