**Who are we?**

Remember the cartoon The Jetsons, as a kid? Or, how about the movie, Iron Man? Both of these shows have a key commonality: they showcased really killer homes that were souped up with the kind of technology that would blow your mind if that technology actually existed in real life.

Well, what was only sci-fi in those shows is rapidly becoming real life today. Consumer technology and smart-home systems are evolving at a rapid pace, which means homes being built or renovated today and in the coming years are going to look more and more like those homes in the movies.

We started out 27 years ago as a commercial technology integration company. Since that time, we’ve transferred our wicked tech skills to the residential smart-home market place with a simple mission
- to continue to build a business that positively contributes to the lives of its employees, clients, and community by successfully connecting them to world-class technology. Our team is currently made up of industry support partners along with six local staff members.

**What would you be doing?**

As an installer/technician at Connect E3, your time will be spent working in homes and businesses to install and integrate the latest in A/V and other home automation technology.

Here’s what a typical week might look like:

- On Monday, you might find yourself pulling wire at a residential home under construction;
- On Tuesday, you may be putting the finishing touches on an A/V rack in the basement of a home after you’ve integrated the home’s security system;
- On Wednesdays, we all fly to Vegas together and hit the casinos. (just kidding; we just wanted to make sure you’re still paying attention)
- You may end your week on Friday doing a few onsite visits to provide troubleshooting for existing client systems that couldn’t be resolved remotely.

When our clients are ready to use their technology for the first time, you’ll train them and act as a resource to answer any questions. You’ll provide world class service and support.

Some days, your daily work will be planned and structured. However, ours is a fast-moving and dynamic line of work. Your priorities can shift at a moment’s notice. You must be comfortable with this and willing to be an active participant in juggling multiple demands.

You will always be expected to treat our clients with patience and friendliness no matter how big or small their issue. Client service is something we hold sacred at our company, so it is of the utmost importance that you be willing and able to serve as a helping hand for our clients in their moment of need.

**What should you bring to the table?**
- 3+ years in A/V industry in customer focused role(s)
- A high level of emotional intelligence
- Dedicated to details and follow-through
- Experience with technology in general
- If you don’t know the difference between coax and HDMI cables, we likely aren’t going to be a good fit.
- Patient and friendly personality at all times
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Resourceful and willing to patiently work through challenging situations
- Ambition to strive for 100% client satisfaction at all times

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
