Bevo Farms Ltd is the largest supplier of propagated plants in North America, providing greenhouses, field farms, nurseries, and wholesalers across the continent with healthy, vigorous, pest-and-disease-free plants. Bevo operates four facilities in the lower mainland of British Columbia and two facilities in the province of Alberta.

**SUMMARY**

Under the direction of the Director of Operations BC and the growing team, the Greenhouse Supervisor provides necessary instruction and direction supervision to the Greenhouse Lead-Hands, designated groups of greenhouse employees, and contracted personnel to ensure maximum productivity and quality of work. The Greenhouse Supervisor also serves as a liaison between the greenhouse staff and the Director of Operations BC, reporting on matters related to employee and contract labour needs and performance.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead by Example
- According to the Director of Operations and growing team, provides instructions and direct supervision to an assigned group of employees, temporary foreign workers, and contractors to achieve specific production tasks related to propagation, seeding, grafting, staking, irrigation, plant movement/ spacing, and other related greenhouse activities
- Provides ongoing feedback to the Director of Operations regarding employee and/or contractor’s performance and task completion
- Anticipates and addresses situations where greenhouse workers are unable to complete greenhouse tasks. Takes timely action to communicate with the Director of Operations and problem solve the situation to optimize productivity
- Advises Director of Operations of any issues impacting the completion of production tasks
- Other duties as required

**REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada
- Experience supervising teams in a production environment
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to speak Spanish considered an asset to this role
