We all have these snapshots of our past in our minds. Those cherished childhood memories of our first animal companion or the first furry friend we were responsible for looking after as young adults. The highs and the lows, the joy we felt for having them in our lives. We wouldn’t trade those memories for anything in the world.

As an Animal Companion Care Advocate (ACCA), you will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming experience for the patients and families of the Mer Bleue Veterinary Hospital. Through your interactions with them, you will be helping them create their own memories and providing them with a positive experience.

Just as you are there to support the Mer Bleue Veterinary Hospital patients and families, we, the team, will be there to support you.

We are here to make you feel heard, feel valued and feel respected. At our hospital, weekly team meetings and biweekly one-on-one meetings with one of the hospital owners are a vital tool in allowing our team, including you, the opportunity to give us feedback and share your ideas and thoughts.

We strongly believe that working together as a team allows us to continuously improve in providing high quality care.

We would like the chance to sit with you and get to know you while you get to know us even better. For those who progress in the selection process, we will provide you with references for ourselves so you can get to know us by speaking with individuals who have worked alongside us.

New team members can expect a complete and thorough training period, a competitive salary at $19.60/hour, three weeks of paid vacation, health and dental benefits, stipend for uniforms, discounts for employee animal companions, and discounts for up to one family or friend per fiscal year.

As our hospital grows, we will offer a continuing education allowance. This will allow you to take courses or go to seminars in order to broaden your knowledge on work-position topics.

As a large part of our clientele is French, fluent bilingualism (English and French) is a requirement for the position.

The interview will take place at the hospital in Orleans.
