The Mail Distribution Clerk receives, distributes, and delivers all mail including regular, overnight packages, vendor/messenger deliveries, as well as interoffice mail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Retrieves incoming mail from local post office and brings outgoing mail to local post office daily.
- Operates in a safe and efficient manner, documents usage, and coordinates maintenance of company vehicles.
- Sorts incoming and interoffice mail by department and delivers the mail to respective departments.
- Collects outgoing and interoffice mail from departments.
- Sorts, weighs and applies postage to all outgoing mail utilizing both manual and sophisticated processing equipment.
- Calculates special handling fees and enters such on documents.
- Processes all internal & external distribution requirements as outlined by supervisor.
- Scans all Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, USPS letters and packages and prepares for delivery.
- Process outbound courier packages as needed.
- Deliver priority items as per the recommended schedule.
- Receive skids of paper and deliver paper to multi-function devices.
- Receives building supplies and materials.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous Mail Room or Distribution Services experience preferred
- Knowledge of mail room software, hardware, and other equipment
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent customer service skills
